Weddings and Clients

Our wedding season is now in full swing and we have a lot of weddings booked for the year and are actually already working on 2011. When I answered the phone this morning I had one of the nicest calls I received in a long time. The mother of a bride called me to make sure I had the date open in September to cover her daughter's wedding. She told me that she was very serious when she told the venue that one of the deciding reasons they were booking that lovely place was my photography. I have had quite a few interesting things happen to me over the years like brides changing their wedding dates just so I could cover their wedding (I was already booked on the dates they had originally in mind) but this call this morning was really sweet and having been under the weather for the last week...........it really lifted my spirits, it almost made me feel like I have not been sick at all :) How can a photographer ask for a better compliment.
I love my work more then anybody can imagine, but I have to admit that kind of appreciation makes it even more worthwhile.
