- I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and photography is my passion. I used to be a successful fine artist, but since I shot my first wedding I never looked back. I am madly and completely in love with weddings, I guess it is the romantic in me :)

One Of my Brides.....
Here is another piece I created of one of my brides. Sometimes I do get inspired to take a little bit of time for some creative work. I called this piece "Caught in a Whirlwind".
Surprise, Surprise ......
I was looking for a photo of myself to post on one of my online forums I belong to and I came across this one I made. I rarely have time anymore to do this kind of work and I do miss it. I just have to make some time and create some special pieces for some of my brides.
Over the years I have photographed more photos then I can remember of things that I would use for these merged art pieces, so when my associate Laura took this photo of me I just had to do something with it that went a little beyond of just beeing a photograph.

Lauren and Corey's Wedding at Chota Falls!
Yesterday Lauren and Corey said their I DO's at Chota Falls at a lovely waterfall ceremony. They had the the most adorable little flower girl and ring bearers, I could not get over how sweet those kids were. It was the most gorgoues day....it could not have been more perfect. Congratulations to the happy couple! What a beautiful start to our 2012 Wedding Season.

It is almost time for the start of our 2012 Wedding Season to start. I am very proud of myself, I was able to get all the albums done from last fall and I even have a little bit of time to get my studio in order before things go wild again.
It is always so exciting for me when we start on a new season and Steve, Laura and I always look forward to it. Meeting new people and shooting in all those beautiful venues. You either LOVE photographing weddings or you don't, in my case I LOVE IT......I love everything about, I guess I am a romantic at heart. Well, the next update will be from our first wedding this year....keep an eye out for it. The photos of this post are of one of the loveliest couples I ever met. Sean is a total sweetheart and Jenn, well I can't say enough about Jenn, she is as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside......their wedding was our last wedding of the 2011 season and we shot it in December at Chota Falls. I feel so blessed to meet so many nice and wonderful people during the weddings we photograph so I thought I would finish this post with a couple of their photos in preparation of all the good things yet to come in 2012.

First Album Page from a Gainesville, GA Wedding!
Everybody knows I love designing albums and that I love doing it without templates....Sure working with templates is much faster, but it would totally bore me to death. I always get excited when I start on a new album and finish the first page. My associate Laura and Dan photographed this wedding for Cariad Photography since we were booked at another location. Many thanks guys......

So strange ..... on the way home from Gainesville today the radio announced there were tornado warnings and that the storm was right in front of us. I was chicken and stopped at the gas station and waited until it passed through our county, did not feel like getting in a one one one situation with a tornado while I was driving. No place to hide no place to go and in my mind this was a better call. I don't know where all these storms are coming from these days.
