Yesterday we drove over to Dahlonga........a lovely little college town in North Georgia to meet with Maleah and Erick, one of our 2012 couples to do their engagement session.
Steve and I decided to go drive over a little bit earlier so we could have lunch in my favorite Caribbean restaurant "Dante's" on the square. We were scheduled to start with the session at 5 pm but Maleah and I were watching the weather and decided to move it up a little and that was the right choice. After the session we met up with them at a little Irish Pub to cool of and just as we were leaving it started to storm.
We had a fantastic time with this lovely couple.....and lots of fun photos. It was a joy to photograph them and laughs all the way around. The drive home was a little bit of an adventure, specially when we drove through Clarkesville.......the storm must have really hit there just before we came through. Police cars and Firemen everywhere....because of trees that had fallen across the roads. It looked like a war zone as we drove along.
