Highlands North Carolina Wedding Photographer Cariad Photography wedding at Half Mile Inn
Rachel and Mark's wedding at the Half Mile Inn in Highlands, North Carolina was so beautiful. It was such a joy to see the lovely flower arrangements and Rachel's bouquet even had my favorite flowers............Lilly of the Valley, I was in Heaven on Earth. Mark and his groomsmen were so funny and so much fun to photograph as were the bridesmaids and our lovely bride. Her gown was absolutely gorgeous and she looked incredible.
The highlight for me personally was when our bride decided to do some serious playing with her little
flower girls. Not only did we get some magical photos, but it was so enjoyable to see them playing and be so happy.
There is always one funny guy in the group.........
Sometimes at can be a challenge to take photos of children when everybody is getting into the mood to be photographers, but I am so happy I was still able to get the little ones looking at me anyway.

Old Edwards Inn and Spa Highlands, NC wedding of Jennifer and Brandon!
Who is to say that you can't have a beautiful wedding in the rain. It rained the entire time we were shooting this lovely elopement but we believe the couple had a lovely time anyway. I have to say Jennifer was a real sport and did not loose her good spirit.

Don't understand this at all............
Some of the clients I booked over the years told me how they appreciated me calling or emailing them right away after they made the initial contact. That is totally normal for me, I treat clients and potential clients the same way I would like to be treated.
This week I was on the other side. I had somebody contact me about photography and Cariad Photography was already booked for their date and so was my associate so she could not shoot it for us, so I contacted another photographer that I trust and who's work I like, but she also was booked. Next I called and wrote to a photographer that I had heard about to see if she would like to shoot the wedding, but guess what........she did not give me the courtesy of even responding.
I had not told her the date so I know she had no reason to just ignore my request for a call back because she was already booked, which in my book would have been rude too.
Now I know how those poor people feel when they contact a photographer and they don't get called back.......... I for one would never trust somebody with my memories if that is how they are from the word go. I guess this is the true difference between a truly professional photographer and somebody that thinks they are. Wake up you so called professionals..........there is so much more to photographing a wedding, customer service is just as important after all your clients are paying you to do a job and they do want you to call them back if they call you.
One thing is for sure, I will never recommend somebody again unless I know how they treat their clients.

Highlands, North Carolina Wedding Photographer
Cariad Photography covers weddings all over the South East including Highlands, NC. We truly enjoyed photographing this wedding at the summer home of our couples parents. The colors of the flowers were so fitting for the surroundings and the chocolate wedding cake was perfect for the woodsy feeling of the wedding.
