Upgrades of systems.....

A month ago I had the bright idea to buy another Canon camera........of course they always tempt me with bigger and better things. Once I got the camera I was not able to get raw plug in from Adobe for this camera on my CS 4 Photoshop version so I had to upgrade to CS6. That was just the beginning....after numerous calls with Adobe I was told I had to get another computer system since I had xp pro and I could not get service pack 3 for xp pro. My computer was custom build and a powerhouse, but I made the mistake when I had it build to run xp pro, so now I was up the creek without a paddle. Anyway long story short I ordered another power house of a computer to be build and now I am in the process of setting the new computer up. In the best of times that is a real pain in the neck.........not only do I have to reinstall everything I need I also have to upgrade some of my favorite plugins because they don't work with Windows 7........this is a never ending story or will I ever get back to normal? I sure hope so and I hope the new camera is worth all of this......... :)
