Laura shot a wedding for us on June 5th in Highlands and she gave me some wonderful photos to work with. We were talking about all the post work I do at times to the photographs we take and she suggested I should put up one with the before and after image, so my clients can see the transformation. She took a beautiful photograph of the bride in the doorway and you can see the original image in color. I had already cleaned up the photo by making the table with all its clutter to the right of the door disappear because it interfered with the beauty of the picture and then I took it a step further. I wanted the image to be more ethereal and by making it black and white I believe I accomplished that. Of course I don't do that to all the photographs we take, but some just lend itself to a little more then a pretty photo.....they become a piece of art and what some of my clients call my signature images.
