About Me

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and photography is my passion. I used to be a successful fine artist, but since I shot my first wedding I never looked back. I am madly and completely in love with weddings, I guess it is the romantic in me :)

Wedding Photographer - Clayton, Georgia Baptist Church

It is always fun to shoot a wedding in our home town just as we did with Kelsey and Javan at the Clayton Baptist Church. This couple was just so romantic it made us all fuzzy on the inside. Steve and I really enjoyed photographing their wedding. The fact that Kelsey grew her own flowers for the her bouquets and all the girls making their own just made it even better. So much tender care and love went into this wedding. It might not have been the most elaborate weddings we ever shot, but it was one of the sweetest.

Splendor Mountain Wedding!

I just loved the colors of this wedding........everything was so bright and beautiful. The couple had chosen Splendor Mountain for their wedding and it was the perfect backdrop for this wedding. I just had to share this wedding even though it has been a couple of years since I photographed it. One of the things that I thought was so nice was that the bridesmaids had solid dresses and the maid of honor a floral dress, it set everything off so nicely.

Chota Falls Waterfall!

I was at Chota Falls yesterday photographing an autism workshop and party for young adult autistic guys and girls and while there I was able to get these shots of the waterfall early in the morning. It was a great day all the way around..........a beautiful waterfall and happy smiles all over the place.

Talking About Flowers!

Every time we shoot a wedding I am always in love with the flowers and beautiful table settings. I loved these specially since they were not the usual flowers in a vase type of center-pieces.

Kelton and Zac's Engagement Session - Chota Falls

On one of the last beautiful days this fall we photographed Kelton and Zac's engagement session. I have to say this couple made our day..........lots of laughs and a couple that interacted so naturally that it made our session really fun. We still had some color in the leaves and we also chose to shoot some of the photos in the Chota Falls Vineyard which was beautifully golden in color. Congratulations Kelton and Zac, Steve and I can't wait to shoot your wedding this coming year.

Getting into Christmas Spirit!

A photograph does not always have to stay a photograph. Tonight I felt like a little fun time after my edits so I played with one of my bride's bouquets. These pieces look awesome printed large and they make a beautiful memory for any bride of her bouquet hanging on the wall.

North Georgia - Chota Falls Wedding of Megan and Michael!

This past Sunday we had another wonderful wedding at Chota Falls .....lovely couple, wonderful people all the way around. It is always so much fun to shoot the wedding when everybody is so nice. We had a pretty good rain come down just before the ceremony, but it was decided to wait a little bit to see if it would stop before moving the ceremony from the waterfall to the chapel and stop it did.
Even though it delayed things a little everybody was in good spirits and Megan and Michael were married at the falls just as they had wished.

This morning we were suppose to do a Trash the Dress Session at another waterfall, but I made the call to not do it. It rained all night and the rocks at the fall are slick even in the best of times, but
after a heavy rain as we had all night I was concerned that the bride and groom would not be safe and I recommended that we push the session of for a while. We might do it next summer ........... I hope they will go for it then, because it is always so much fun.
I always promised myself that I would not ever put somebody at risk just to get some fab photos......it is just not worth it and I stuck by my promise as much as I wanted to do this with this lovely couple.
